Senior operations help, without the full-time hire.

Fractional help with inventory, warehousing and logistics, workflow and system design, and project delivery. For teams with broken workflows, stock they can’t trust, growth that’s outrunning the process, or a project nobody owns.

Taking on new projects, a few at a time.

Vancouver-based. Primarily remote across Canada, with on-site work beyond Vancouver when the scope calls for it.

When the operation runs on workarounds, something needs to change.

  • Inventory counts don’t match the system.

Stock goes missing, and nobody’s sure which number is right.

  • Work stalls at the handoffs.

Duplicate data entry, with spreadsheets filling the gaps between systems.

  • Growth has outpaced the process.

Ownership and capacity gaps are starting to show.

  • Important projects keep slipping.

Everyone owns a piece. Nobody owns the whole effort.

  • You need senior help, not a permanent hire.

The work calls for experience, but not a full-time salary yet.

Pharmacy

Mail-order pharmacy

Problem

Ad hoc receiving. Every order was handled a little differently.

Fix

PO discipline, tote allocation, put-to-light, lot and expiry capture, scan shipping, and ship-on-date tracking with root-cause follow-up.

~200 → ~500orders per day
E-commerce

Multi-channel e-commerce warehouse

Problem

Manual picking from paper labels.

Fix

Moved the floor to scan-based picking and readied the building for promotions and peak season.

4–5% → 0.03%pick errors, with peak days at about 2× normal volume plus another 60–70%
Manufacturing

Multi-site manufacturing warehouse

Problem

A demand spike strained a plant, an overflow site and two third-party warehouses.

Fix

Aligned shifts with production and tightened carrier and paperwork discipline.

26 loads in 8 hrsfull loads shipped, with about 30 million units on hand
Pharmacy

Retail pharmacy

Problem

Accuracy around 65–70%. A workaround restocked “missing” items, and unscanned fills leaked insurance dollars.

Fix

Removed the workaround, trained staff on what each transaction does, and tied every discrepancy to dollars.

~98%accuracy on a full count about a year later
Warehouse

Finished-goods warehouse

Problem

Dead stock filled the racks while live product sat in the aisles. Too many orders shipped late or short.

Fix

Cleared scrap and dead stock, reset the flow, and traced “missing” boxes back to production labeling.

~60% → ~99%on-time, in-full, with about 60% of the space reopened
Manufacturing

Specialty liquid manufacturer

Problem

A manual plant growing faster than its processes.

Fix

Over about five years: written procedures, bills of materials, an ERP, a bottling line, a temp-based staffing plan, and dock loading planned around major wholesale customers.

Movement is not progress.

If it isn’t defined, it can’t be measured. If it isn’t measured, it can’t be improved. We listen to the people doing the work, make the constraints visible, and sequence changes so your team can absorb them. The fix is sized to the problem, never the other way around.
